No More Late Notices? Here's Why I'm Angry

I built this site because I'm tired of watching the City of Herrin eliminate late notices for water bills. I understand paying my bills is my responsibility, but removing reminders means residents can go from missing a payment to having their water shut off and paying an additional $50.00 reconnect fee. In my opinion, that's poor customer service and hurts the people who live here. This website exists so residents can share their experiences, discuss city issues, and have a voice. I know they are also telling the workers if they warn a resident they can get fired. This is a pure money grab, and I am sick of it!
